Diamond Jim Boyd is a Lineman,
Singer and Songwriting extraordinaire...
His music is about the trials and tribulations
of working lines on the road due to storms,
ice, wind & rain. When you listen to the words,
you'll understand.
Where ever the weather is bad, you will
probably find him there repairing the lines
and if he's not there fixing the power lines,
he's somewhere writing about it.
Jim's latest album, "Chunk of Coal" was mixed and mastered by Charles Smith at Red River Studio in Northwest Louisiana, Bossier City.
The album was produced by Robin Vosbury who also plays various instruments on the album. (Big O) also plays the bass on this album.
He's been from Miami to Detroit and has weathered it all.
Jim Boyd is a member of the:
International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers.
